Temple of Zeus & Zeus Tapınağı Euromos was the most important city in the ancient times after Mylasa. The name of the city was “Cyramos” or “Hyramos” in the 5th century BC The Greek, form Euromos meaning “strong” is likely to be adapted as the policy of Hellenization by Mausolos. Although the city ruins is damaced the Temple of Zeus in Euromos is among the half dozen best preserved monuments in Asia. It was built the Corinthian order and dated from the second century AD It has 6 columns on architrave and 9 columns on the sides.
